We help „Reporters Without Borders, “
who are helping in Ukraine, Ukrainian journalists who now need protection and support.
For international reporters, Reporters Without Borders offers insurance cover for war and crisis areas, financed by donations and memberships. Together with other organizations, Reporters Without Borders are provided with protective equipment such as helmets and vests.
Aggressive war is barbaric madness; he must be ostracized and punished worldwide. The brave Ukrainians are defending themselves.
We help them regain hope for peace, says Hans Wallow, the chairman of the international Global Club e.v., Bonn-Gronau, who acts as a co-organizer. The proceeds will go to 'Reporters Without Borders,' which provides assistance in Ukraine.
Enough streams of warm blood and salty tears have flowed. "Also, those of Russian mothers mourning their fallen sons, " said the Cologne New Philharmonic conductor, Volker Hartung. He will give a charity peace concert for Ukrainian refugees with his orchestra on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at 5 pm in the auditorium of the University of Bonn.

The following will be performed:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Serenade "A Little Night Music," the "Ukrainian Melody" for violin and orchestra by Peter Tchaikovsky, Pablo de Sarasate's virtuoso showpiece "Navarra" for two violins and orchestra, played by one Ukrainian and one Russian soloist each, and many other virtuoso surprises.
In the second half of the concert, a selection of racy foxtrots and tangos from the "Golden Twenties" will be played.

We promise you an unforgettable experience!
