Cologne New Philharmonic with Volker Hartung China Tour
Under the direction of Conductor Volker Hartung, the Cologne New Philharmonic Orchestra will make their debut in China in September for a fifteen-day tour.
Joined by violinist Elizabeth Basoff-Darskaia, clarinetist
沈恬逸(Tianyi Shenand Zhuhai Classical Children’s Choir, the orchestra will present four programme to Chinese audiences including one world-premiere work by Andrew Webb-Mitchell called Night of Sevens inspired by the traditional Chinese folk story The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl.
Volker Hartung said that he is looking forward to introduce the orchestra and the German Symphonic/Operatic masterpieces to the Chinese audience.
